Thank You ACA & ACVP
This past weekend we spent a fabulous time in the Ville de La Nouvelle-Orléans learning, networking, meeting new friends and saying hello to old ones.
Over the past three years, I’ve hit just about every major pharmacy conference in the United States and this one definitely makes my list of top five independent pharmacy events. The programming was fresh, current, relevant and at times entertaining. From Understanding Entrepreneurship and Using it Your Advantage to Pediatrics and Geriatrics – Oh How Much They Are Alike! the conference had something for everyone. What’s even more
I also had the opportunity to present at the conference and have included my slides for download, The How To’s of Powerful Marketing Through Social Media-ACA.
Thanks again ACA & ACVP!
The American College of Apothecaries was founded on May 9, 1940 in Richmond, Virginia. In 1978, the Research & Education Foundation was established, and in 1998 the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists began. The existence of these three separate entities allows for the provision of numerous benefits to the Fellowship and the profession. Our Research & Education Resource Center was founded in 1998 in Bartlett, Tennessee.
The American College of Veterinary Pharmacists was established in order to support the efforts of independent pharmacists in developing and strengthening the services they provide for animals as well as strengthening the support services they provide for veterinarians – assisting them in meeting the needs of their practices. The College develops and disseminates educational materials and programs, serves as an information resource and works closely with allied organizations to enhance the veterinary pharmacy care offered by pharmacy practitioners. The ACVP encourages interaction and exchange of ideas among pharmacists and provides networking opportunities and specialty services for Members. ACVP is committed to providing the support to develop a successful veterinary compounding practice.
